For the safe use of information in the various operations carried out, beneficiaries of valuation reports prepared by authorized valuers sometimes need confirmation that those reports were prepared in compliance with the Property Valuation Standards. This can be obtained by contracting an authorized valuer who also holds the VE – Valuation Verification specialization.
The verification of an evaluation involves expressing a written opinion on how it was prepared, in the form of a report.
The FairValue team employs 12 authorized appraisers with the VE - Valuation Verification specialization, qualified to analyze reports for real estate, equipment, businesses, and intangible assets.
The verification may have a simple objective (opinion on compliance with standards and legislation) or an extended one, in which case a conclusion on the estimated value is also expressed in the verified report.
